Te Menenga Pai Ngā Whare Hauora Trust is the only Kaupapa Māori residential whare within the Capital & Coast catchment area.

Our whare is in Newtown Wellington. Te Menenga Pai Ngā Whare Hauora is a long term residential housing and recovery service.

Te Menenga Pai Ngā Whare Hauora provides services in a manner that reflects Māori aspirations and values while recognising both Māori and non-Māori accessing our services.

We honour Te Tiriti O Waitangi as our founding document using the principles of:

• Partnership
• Participation, and
• Protection

We are currently funded for 13 beds, referrals are via NASC Te Whatu Ora. Tangata motuhake that are referred have high and complex needs, the majority have no whanau connections, or have burnt bridges with whanau. We attempt in a positive manner to fill that gap as whanaungatanga.
